Instructions: Preheat the oven to 350C and butter the baking trays.
Beat the butter until soft, then beat in the sugar. Continue beating until the mixture is light and fluffy. Put aside 4oz of the flour and add the rest to the butter mixture, add the cornstarch and form into a ball. Roll out into heart shapes, spread on the jam, and put the rest of the brown sugar, flour and butter together until it resembles breadcrumbs. Sprinkle on top of the biscuits and bake for 15 minutes.
