Instructions: Cut chicken wings at wing joints, giving 3 pieces each. Put pieces in pan, add sufficient water just to cover wings, add soy sauce and half the ginger.
Bring slowly to boil; reduce heat, simmer until cooked (approximately 25 minutes). Drain well. Sift flour into bowl, add oil, salt, pepper and ginger. Gradually add water, beat until smooth. Dip cooled chicken in batter; drain off excess batter. Deep fry in hot oil over low heat until golden. Serve with drinks. Email this Recipe:
