Instructions: * SAO biscuits are a popular water cracker made by Arnotts in Australia. It is said that they were named for a Salvation Army Officer and that originally the profits from their sales were donated to the Salvation Army. Doubtless this ceased when Arnotts was bought by Campbells (of soup fame) in the early 1990s. GM
METHOD: Put aside half the breadcrumbs. then combine the remainder of the breadcrumbs with the crushed crackers and all the other ingredients. Mix well and form into patties, rolling each in the reserved breadcrumbs. Fry until golden brown on each side. Alternatively, mix the biscuit crumbs through the mixture just before frying to give texture. Email this Recipe:
