3/4 cup finely crushed corn flakes
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground red pepper
4 x skinless boneless chicken breast halves

Instructions: Forget frying! With this recipe Swanson Broth shows how to make chicken with all the flavor and fun of fried, but without the fuss or fat of oil! Just dip chicken in broth, coat with our corn flake mixture and bake. So simple, and simply delicious! Serve with Skinny Mashed Potatoes: cook potatoes in Swanson Broth. Drain and reserve broth, then mash with reserved broth instead of milk and butter.

Prep/

Cook Time: 25 min.

MIX corn flakes, garlic, black pepper and red pepper.

DIP chicken into broth. Coat with corn flake mixture. Place chicken on baking sheet.

BAKE at 400F. for 20 min. or until done.

Serves 4.

NOTES : Heres a recipe from Swanson that moistens chicken with broth to make the corn flake crumbs stick. Ive not tried this in a long time but I remember experimenting with the crumbs. The one that worked best.... I added ground nuts or some butterbuds to the crumbs; sprayed lightly with canned oil or cant believe its not butter.
