Instructions: Cut the bread into daisy or other shapes with a cookie cutter, approximately 3 shapes per slice of bread. Wrap in plastic wrap and set aside.
In a small bowl, mix together the cucumber, 1/4 cup cream cheese, horseradish, and onion salt. Spread a thin layer of the butter on each piece of bread, then spread with the cucumber mixture. Place the cream cheese in a pastry bag and pipe a tiny rosette on top of each sandwich. Garnish with the herb leaves and serve. Makes 12 canapes. YIELD: VARIABLE APPETIZER SERVINGS Email this Recipe:
