Ingredients:

4 tbl whole tamarind (soaked in 300ml of water)
600 ml water
6 tbl jaggery grated
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp rock salt
2 tsp cumin powder (dryroasted)
4 tbl mint leaves
4 tbl coriander leaves chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Squeeze the thick juice from the soaked tamarind and discard the pith and fibres.

Add the water to dilute then stir in the jaggery salt chilli powder rock salt and cumin powder and blend completely.

Chill thoroughly
Before serving add the mint and coriander leaves and serve ice cold

A warm dusky evening is the best time to have this fresh sweet sour drink which has the flavour of fun.
