1/2 lb ground chuck or ground pork
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup finely chopped almonds
2 sm cans water chestnuts chopped
2 x eggs
3 tsp soy sauce
2 x cloves garlic pressed
----------------- SAUCE ----------------
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tsp curry powder
1 can pineapple chunks
2 tbl cornstarch
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix meat with all ingredients. Add salt to taste. Form into balls about 1-inch in diameter. Roll into corn-starch. Chill, then fry in oil. Make sauce and pour over meatballs. Serve in chafing dish with picks.

SAUCE: Mix sugar, soy sauce, vinegar, water, cornstarch, ginger and curry in saucepan. Add pineapple juice, to taste. Bring to boil, stirring constantly, and boil for 2 to 3 minutes. Add pineapple chunks. Pour over meatballs.
