Instructions: Prepare Mock Guacamole: Drop garlic cloves through feed tube of food processor fitted with metal blade while motor is running; process 10 seconds. Add peas, cilantro, onion, lemon juice, black pepper and hot pepper sauce; process until smooth. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Spread 3 tablespoons Mock Guacamole on each of 8 slices bread. Arrange 2 tomato slices, 1 cup lettuce, 2 slices turkey and 1 slice cheese over Mock Guacamole on each bread slice. Spread 1 tablespoon mustard over each remaining slice of bread and place on top of each to form sandwich. Cut each sandwich in half. This recipe yields 8 servings. Email this Recipe:
