Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 sm Onion, minced
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Cumin, ground
1 tbl Oil
3 cup Red lentils
1 x Kombu strip
12 cup Water
Salt, to taste
2 tbl Cilantro
Instructions:
Instructions: Saute onion, cinnamon & cumin in oil in a stockpot until the onion is translucent, about 2 minutes.

Stir in the lentils, kombu & water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover & simmer for 1 hour. Season to taste & garnish with cilantro & lemon slices.
