Instructions: Cook first three ingredients together until thickened and then cool.
Cream together: oleo, white granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat well and add dry ingredients and cooked date mixture. Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a cookie sheet. Bake 375 F. 12-15 minutes. NOTES : Daisy was my Grandma Jones best friend! Email this Recipe:
