2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 cup dates, finely chopped
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
4 x eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
4 tbl cold water
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, then remaining ingredients; mix well.

Put into a greased jelly-roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cut into bars and roll in powdered sugar.
