Instructions: 1 Melt the margarine and malt in a saucepan.
Remove from the heat and add the oats dates and salt. 2 Grease a 7in square shallow tin, press the mixture evenly into it and bake for 20 minutes at 190 C/370 F/gas mark 5. 3 Cut into squares while still warm but leave until cool before removing from the tin. Email this Recipe:
