Instructions: 1/4 Lb butter
1/2 lb sugar 2 eggs few drops vanilla essence 2 cups flour 1 pinch salt 1 cup dates Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, then vanilla, sifted flour, and salt. Mix to form a stiff dough. Enclose each date in about 1 tsp of dough. Arrange on a lightly greased baking tray. Bake in slow oven 325 deg. for 25-30 minutes intil golden. Email this Recipe:
