Instructions: Cook corn syrup, butter and brown sugar until bubbly. Pour into a 9 x 13 dish and sprinkle with pecans. Arrange slices of bread over the syrup mixture. Beat together eggs, milk and vanilla. Pour over bread and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately invert over serving platter.
Serving Ideas : Strawberries and whipped cream NOTES : For as long as I remember, I have had brunch at my home for mothers day. Of course the guests include my mom, Bills mom and my godmother Aunt Virgy. This year I made this treat. I copied it off my computer food bulletin board.
