Instructions: In a small saucepan, combine the syrup, butter, and 1/4 cup walnuts over low heat; mix well and simmer until warmed through and the pancakes are ready.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the baking mix, club soda, and eggs; whisk until smooth. Stir in the vanilla, banana, and remaining 1/2 cup walnuts. Pour 1/4-cupfuls onto a hot greased griddle or skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the edges are dry and the pancakes start to bubble. Turn and cook for 2 to 3 more minutes, or until golden. Serve topped with the warm sauce. This recipe yields 12 pancakes.
