Instructions: Cream shortening until fluffy. Add sugar and continue creaming until well blended. Add salt, flavoring and whipping cream; blend on low speed until moistened. Beat at high speed until icing is fluffy.
Makes 3 3/4 cups. Option: Use 1/2 cup butter and 1/2 cup shortening instead of 1 cup shortening. Makes for a more buttery taste. Email this Recipe:
