Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
200 gm Split lentils
2 tsp Fresh ginger
2 tsp Green chilli, chopped
2 tsp Turmeric
100 gm Kidney beans, pre-soaked in water for 30 minutes)
1 tbl Ghee or white butter
1 tsp Salt
1 lrg Red onion, chopped
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 tbl Fresh coriander, chopped
Instructions:
Instructions: Place the lentils in a pan of hot water with half the ginger and chilli and simmer for 25 minutes.

Add the kidney beans, butter and salt to the lentils.

Put the red onion in a pan of hot oil with the other half of the ginger and the chilli and fry for 5 minutes.

Add the garam masala and turmeric to the onion, stir well and mix into the lentils.

Add the cream and coriander and serve.
