Instructions: Mash the potatoes with the turmeric chilli coriander and cumin powder coriander leaves dill seeds and salt.
Simmer the chops with the ginger and garlic pastes salt and enough water to cover for 1 hour until cooked then drain completely Cover each chop with the potato paste and reserve for 10 minutes to make firm. Meanwhile make a fairly thick batter with the gram flour bicarbonate of soda water as needed and some salt. Heat the oil until it smokes. Dip each chop in the batter and deep fry until golden. Drain on absorbent paper serve hot with tomato ketchup and mint chutney (qv). Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
