1 pkt dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup cottage cheese
2 tbl sugar
1 tbl minced onion
1 tbl butter
2 tbl dill weed
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 x egg, unbeaten
Instructions:
Instructions: Mix 1 package dry yeast with 1/4 cup warm water. Soften. Heat cottage cheese until lukewarm. Mix cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill weed, salt, baking soda and egg together; add yeast. Add 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups flour to form soft dough. Use mixer at low speed for adding flour to the mixture. Cover and let rise until double in size, 50-60 minutes. Stir dough down. Make into loaves, let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes. Brush with soft butter and salt.

Makes 2 loaves.
