Instructions: Combine sugar, syrup, and water; cook over low heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Cover and boil without stirring for 3 minutes. Uncover and cook until syrup forms a thread when dropped from a spoon, or 265 degrees.
Pour syrup slowly over 2 beaten egg whites, beating until candy will hold shape. Add vanilla and nuts and drop by teaspoon on waxed paper. Email this Recipe:
