Instructions: Finely chop the mutton suet. Strain the blood into a mixing bowl, add all the other ingredients and mix well. Allow to stand for 30 min. Preheat oven to 180 degrees C / 350 degrees F. Transfer the mixture into a well greased oven proof dish, and cover with greased paper and foil, securely tied.
Place in a roasting tin with boiling water to come halfway up the sides of the dish. Bake for about 50 min, or until the Dresin is set. When ready, cut into squares and put on a hot dish. Garnish with a small sprig of parsley on each square and serve with tomatoes. Or, leave the Dresin to get cold. Slice and fry it for breakfast. Email this Recipe:
