Instructions: Cook potatoes in boiling water to cover 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash. Add sour cream, milk, chives, and seasonings to potato mixture, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Spoon half of potato mixture into a greased 2-quart casserole. Spoon remaining potato mixture into a decorating bag fitted with large fluted tip No. 8B. Pipe remaining potato mixture into casserole. Drizzle butter lightly over top; sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 400 F for 15 minutes. Place under broiler just long enough to brown.
