1/2 tsp mexican-type chili powder
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 pch ground cinnamon
1 pch curry powder
2 x cloves garlic smashed
2 tbl chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/4 cup apple juice
1 tsp unsalted butter
Instructions:
Instructions: In a medium bowl combine the chili powder, turmeric, cinnamon, curry powder, garlic, onions, pineapple and apple juice.

Cover and microwave on full power for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes, stirring or shaking midway Scoop the mixture into a processor or blender and whiz until well combined and smooth, adding the butter and vinegar while the motor is running. Serve warm.

Yield: "2/3 cup"

NOTES : This seasoning, known as tikka paste, is usually made of spices, pureed fruit and lots of oil. Here, most of the fat is omitted and the flavors have been rearranged to create a delicious and fragrant sauce for shrimp, flounder, or other mild fish fillets. Can be used on poultry and vegetables. Enough for 1-pound of fish.
