Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat; drain. Add the chili starter and diced tomatoes; mix well. Spread the mixture equally over each pita bread and top with the shredded cheese. Place the pizzas on rimmed baking sheets and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the pita is crisp. Cut into wedges and serve. This recipe yields 6 servings.
