Instructions: Heat oven to 400. Lightly grease a large baking sheet.
In medium mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour and sugar. In smaller bowl, combine melted butter, sour cream and milk. Whisk well, then pour over dry ingredients. Stir just until blended. Drop dough by large heaping spoonfuls onto baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Split warm shortcakes, fill with berries and softly whipped cream. Makes eight to 10 servings. Email this Recipe:
