Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
2 tbl Olive oil
3 oz Onions, roughly chopped
1 oz Each of raisins & currants
1/2 tsp Each salt, gournd ginger,
Mace & saffron
1/4 tsp Ground cloves
1/2 cup Dry white wine
1/3 cup Wine vinegar
1 oz Sugar
3 oz Wholemeal or wholewheat
Breadcrumbs
Instructions:
Instructions: Gently cook the onions in the oil till they are solft. Add the fruit & spices & cook for a few minutes. Melt the sugar in the wine & venegar & add this to the onion & fruits. Simmer all toghether, covered for 15 minutes then process. Reutrn the mixture tothe pan & add the breadcrumbs & enough water to make a thick but not claggy sauce.

Adjust the seasoning to taste & serve with the roast meat.
