12 slc sandwich bread
1/2 lb Old English cheese
1/4 lb butter
1 pt milk
8 x eggs
1/4 tsp dry mustard
Instructions:
Instructions: Melt cheese and butter in top of double broiler or microwave. Cut crust off bread and cut slices in quarters. Stir into melted cheese and butter.

Spread in bottom of 2-quart greased casserole. (Will seem like a gummy mess.)

Beat eggs, milk, salt and mustard until frothy. Pour over bread mixture.

Stir a bit with a spoon to be sure milk gets to bottom of casserole. Will be soupy with lumps of bread and cheese floating. Store in refrigerator overnight. Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
