Instructions: In large mixing bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Beat for four minutes.
Pour batter into 2 waxed-paper lined, greased and floured 9" round cake pans. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for five minutes and then turn out onto cooling racks. When completely cool, spread cooled Egg Nog Filling between layers. Frost with Whipped Cream Frosting and garnish nutmeg or "flowers" of red and green cherries. Refrigerate until serving time. Email this Recipe:
