2 cup all-purpose flour
1 tbl baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 pch cayenne pepper
3/4 cup grated Cheddar cheese
1 cup milk
1 tsp finely-chopped fresh rosemary
Instructions:
Instructions: Sift the dry ingredients together. Add the cheese and mix to a light dough by hand or in a food processor, gradually adding the milk until the mixture is complete. Add the rosemary and mix in well.

Knead and roll out on a floured bench or board, cut into pieces. Place on a cold baking tray and bake for 10 minutes at 450 degrees.

This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings;

8 to 10 scones.
