Instructions: Line a shallow dish (or mold) with plastic wrap. Place the cream cheese on the wrap, and form the cheese to the shape of the dish. (Cheese does not have to be softened to do this; it actually works better if it isnt soft.)
Refrigerate until serving time. Turn the formed cheese onto a plate or platter. Remove the plastic wrap. Top the cream cheese with the preserves, then the bacon, then the green onion. Serve with Breton water crackers or other bland cracker. Best when everything is at room temperature. Email this Recipe:
