Instructions: Fifteen good shakes pepper sauce (like Tabasco)
Kosher salt and fresh-ground black pepper to taste 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (optional for extra tartness) Combine first four ingredients in the bowl of a food processor and pulse into a smooth paste (add more olive oil to thin out, if necessary). When smooth consistency is achieved - think really thick pancake batter - scrape down the sides of the bowl, then add garlic, cumin and salt and pulse until integrated. Drizzle on extra-virgin olive oil and serve with pita bread wedges (for dipping) and good olives (for snacking). Serves 4-6 as an appetizer. Email this Recipe:
