Instructions: Cream the butter and sugar together until nice and fluffy. Beat the egg into the butter and sugar, then slowly add the flour. Mash the bananas with a fork and add to the mix. Dissolve the baking soda in the milk, and add to the cake batter. Grease a medium cake tin (about 20 cm diameter) and pour in cake mix.
Bake at medium heat (150 degrees C) for about 45 minutes or until a deep golden brown. This cake is so moist and rich I dont tend to ice it all usually, but if wanted for a special occasion, a lemon or cream-cheese icing is nice as a contrast. Email this Recipe:
