Instructions: In a medium saucepan, combine the wine, lemon juice, sugar, cloves, and cinnamon, bring to a boil over high heat. Boil for 10 to 12 minutes or until a light syrup forms.
Remove the cloves and cinnamon stick. Add the strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries and cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until the berries begin to release liquid. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla. Serve warm or cover and chill until ready to serve. This recipe yields 2 cups. Comments: Frozen berries will work well in this, too. Its great for drizzling over shortbread cookies, pound cake, or ice cream for a "berry" delicious dessert sensation! Yield: 2 cups Email this Recipe:
