Instructions: Combine dressing mix and sour cream; place in refrigerator until needed. (I usually do this early in the day for the flavors to blend) Place potatoes in casserole dish. Sprinkle with seasoned salt and slice margarine into pats over top of potatoes. Cover with lid and bake in 400* oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Spread sour cream mixture over top of potatoes and sprinkle with cheese. Cover with lid and return to oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts completely.
** Note: If you have the time, you can peel and cube the potatoes the night before and soak in water in the refrigerator overnight. Then drain the potatoes well before preparing and cooking them. Email this Recipe:
