Bread slices, (any type)
14 x eggs
1/2 cup Milk
1/2 cup half-and-half
----------------- CHOICE OF 1 CUP ----------------
chopped ham
cooked drained sausage
Cooked drained bacon
Shredded cheese
sliced fresh mushrooms, any combination
----------------- CHOICE OF SEASONINGS ----------------
chopped fresh herbs
salt
freshly ground black or, white pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Butter a 9 x 11-inch baking pan and fill with the bread slices. In a large bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Add the milk and half-and-half and beat until light yellow. Pour the mixture over the bread and add choice of ingredients and seasonings. Cover and refrigerate for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.

Bake in a cold oven at 350 F for 1 hour 30 minutes or until lightly browned and puffy. Remove and let stand for 5 minutes. Serve.

YIELD: 6 to 8 SERVINGS
