Instructions: Mix all the ingredients except the oil and add enough water to make a thick batter.
Heat the oil in a shallow hying pan and drop in little balls of batter from a ladle. Fry until brown then tum the fritters over cover and allow to cook in their own steam on a low heat. Serve hot. Traditionally made with chickpea flour but this version is innovative and appetising. It is crunchy and remains so with keeping. Serve it as a snack with a sweet chutney. Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
