2 tbl olive oil
4 cup thinly sliced onions (about 1 pound)
1/4 tsp salt
12 oz fettuccine
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low. Add onions and cook 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender and lightly browned. Add salt and cook 15 to 20 minutes more. Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to directions; drain. Spoon pasta back into pot; add onions and toss. Spoon onto a large serving platter and top with olives.

NOTES : Kristin notes: I think 12 oz of fettuccine is pretty skimpy for 6 servings. It would be more like 4 in our family. Id reduce the olive oil too.
