12 x figs
1 x cinnamon stick
1/2 cup orange juice
1 tsp grated orange rind
1/2 cup brandy
1/2 cup sherry
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbl sugar (caster)
1 cup cream
Instructions:
Instructions: Heat cinnamon, orange juice and rind, brandy, sherry, vanilla and sugar until boiling, remove from heat.

Halve figs and add to hot syrup. Cover and allow to cool in refrigerator for 1 hour.

Serve with whipped cream and toasted flaked almonds.
