Ingredients:

600 gm beef, fillet
3 x onions, medium
2 tbl vegetable oil
----------------- MARINADE: ----------------
1/2 tsp bicarb of soda
1 tsp cornflour
1 tsp sugar (caster)
1 x chicken stock cubes
1 tsp sesame oil
2 tsp oyster sauce
1 tbl soy sauce
Instructions:
Instructions: Finely slice onions.

Cut meat into thin slices and pound out to flatten slightly.

Combine all ingredients for marinade in a bowl, add beef and mix together well. Allow to sit 2 hours, mixing together regularly.

Heat 1/2 the oil in wok, add sliced onions, saute gently 3 minutes, until just golden. Transfer to heated serving plate.

Heat remaining oil in wok and saute beef pieces quickly until brown on both sides. Only do a bit at a time over high heat. Overcooking will toughen meat. Remove from pan and arrange over onions.

Serve with stir fry brocolli , snow peas and egg noodles.
