Instructions: Soak the spices in the warm milk and the vinegar for 30 minutes or so.
Fry the onion and garlic in the oil until golden. dd the presoaked spices and stirfry the creamed coconut with a little water. When hot add the fish with the chillies and keep the sauce fairly fluid while cooking by adding water as required. Cook until the fish is tender (10 to 15 minutes) and add salt to taste. As soon as cooked sprinkle with lemonjuice and serve. Southern indian curry based on coconut and coloured yellow with turmeric. Serves 4 Email this Recipe:
