Instructions: Leave some butter at room temperature until soft.
Chop your chosen ingredient (its up to you how much you use it depends on how dominant a flavour you want) either finely or coarsely. Then just scrunch the ingredient into the butter. With a spatula scrape the mixture on to greaseproof paper roll up into a sausage shape fold the sides in and form into an even shape. Refrigerate. This keeps in the freezer for a couple of months. Flavoured butter is realty handy if you want to make something quick like garlic bread or if you want a tasty way to fry fish meat or vegetables. You can use lots of different flavours. Herbs are good especially basil coriander rosemary sage or thyme. Or you can use garlic olives sundried tomatoes anchovies chillies and lemon with thyme whatever you fancy. Email this Recipe:
