Ingredients:
Amount Ingredient
1 lb Ground beef
1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
1/2 cup Oatmeal
3 tbl Finely chopped green pepper
Or celery
2 tbl Bran
2 tbl Wheat germ
1 sm Onion, finely chopped
1 tbl Freshly chopped parsley
1 x Egg, lightly beaten
1/4 tsp Finely chopped garlic
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Combine all loaf ingredients, using your hands.Form into loaf and place in 9 X 5 X 3" loaf pan,cover with layer of chili sauce (or ketchup if desired), bake 50 minutes to 1 hour.(Do not overbake,since part of the secret of fluffiness is shorter cooking time.)Serve the meat loaf sliced and hot.Serves 4.

Variation: Half ground veal and half ground beef can be used for the meat loaf - lower in calories.
