450 gm (1 lb) icing sugar
1 med egg white
50 gm (2 oz) liquid glucose colouring and flavouring

1 x Sieve the icing sugar into a bowl and make a well in the centre. Add
the egg white and glucose.
2 x Knead well until fondant is smooth. Add colouring and flavouring as

Instructions: 3 Roll out on a board dusted with equal quantities of icing sugar and cornflour.

Lift onto cake and smooth down sides. Trim off level with base of cake and use trimmings for decoration.

N.B. Liquid glucose can be purchased from a good chemist.
