3/4 lb ground pork
1 can tiny cooked shrimp (4-6 oz.)
3 x eggs
1 tbl brown sugar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
4 x green onions (including green part) sliced
1/4 cup flour
1 tbl vegetable oil Sweet and Sour Sauce:
1/3 cup cold water
2 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp brown sugar
1/3 cup ketchup
2 tsp vinegar
Instructions:
Instructions: Brown the pork in a skillet, drain, and set aside. Rinse liquid from shrimp and drain. In a bowl, mix together the eggs, sugar, garlic and pepper. Stir in pork, shrimp, celery, onions and flour. Heat oil on a griddle. Fry up the batter 1/3 cup at a time, like pancakes. Serve with sliced tomatoes and sweet and sour sauce.

To make sauce, combine ingredients in order given. Heat until thickened.

Makes 3/4 cup.

Pat Says: I faked this recipe after having tested this in an Asian restaurant in Florida. I couldnt get their recipe, so I created my own close approximation. Very good with stir-fry or skewered veggies. You can also grill the tomato slices if you wish.
