Ingredients:

1 loaf French bread
1 lb ground chuck
1 med onion -- chopped
1 x (10 3/4 oz) can tomato soup -- undiluted
Instructions:
Instructions: Cut bread in half lengthwise; carefully scoop out inside and break into bite-size pieces. Combine ground chuck and onion in a large saucepan or Dutch oven; cook until meat is browned. Stir in soup and bread pieces.

Spoon meat mixture into bottom half of bread shell and cover with top half of bread shell. Wrap loaf in foil; bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes. To serve, cut into slices.

Yield: 10 servings.
