Instructions: Peel onions and finely slice into rings. Peel and crush the garlic.
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan, add onions and saute over low heat until onions are golden brown (about 10 minutes). Add garlic, stock, beer and brandy; simmer gently for 30 minutes. Season well and serve hot with cheese croutons and chopped parsley. Email this Recipe:
