Instructions: In large skillet with tight-fitting lid melt 1 tbsp. butter Spread 2 or 3 lettuce leaves in skillet. Add 18 oz. peas. Dot with 3 Tbsp. butter sprinkle with 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. sugar and 1/8 tsp. pepper. Cook over low heat 30 min. til tender.
NOTES : We used to live in Northern Canada where all the frozen vegetables came aged like fine wine. This recipe could rescue the worst peas so imagine what it can do for quality vegetables! Email this Recipe:
