1 cup Butter
2 cup Sugar
3 x Eggs
3 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
2 tsp Vanilla
3 cup MacIntosh apples, diced
2 cup Walnuts, chopped

1/2 cup Sugar
Instructions:
Instructions: Cream butter and sugar well; add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition; sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together; gradually add to butter mixture; stir in vanilla; fold in apples and walnuts; pour into a greased 10-inch tube pan and bake in a preheated, 325 oven for approximately 1 1/2 hours; cool; drizzle sherry glaze over cake and serve. Sherry Glaze. Combine sugar and sherry in a heavy saucepan; cook, stirring constantly, until syrupy, about 2 minutes. Chuck in Pok.
