Instructions: In large bowl, mash the clean sliced berries with the sugar. Allow to stand for 1 hour.

Meanwhile prepare French vanilla ice cream according to directions.

Strain into a clean bowl and let cool thoroughly.

If berries arent very flavorful, stir in the lemon juice to perk up the flavor.

Puree berries in food processor or blender, then strain. Add puree to ice cream.

Transfer to ice cream churn and freeze according to manufacturers instructions.
