1 cup sugar
2 tbl cornstarch
2 cup water
1/4 cup butter or margarine - (1/8 lb)
2 tbl grated lemon peel
Instructions:
Instructions: In a 1- to 2-quart pan, mix sugar and cornstarch. Stir in 2 cups water. Bring to a boil over high heat, stirring, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat. Add butter or margarine, lemon peel, and lemon juice. Stir until butter melts. Serve warm.

This recipe yields 3 cups.
